Shikin hospitalized

The title says it all, and yes Shikin Alauddin is now hospitalized in Ampang Hospital. It happened on Sunday when her gums bleed badly and she was then taken to the hospital. After doing the first test, she was suspected to be having leukemia and thorough check up and examination need to be carried out to confirm on it and it can be only done on Wednesday.

So after doing the bone marrow biopsy on Wednesday, she has been diagnosed and confirmed to be having a stage 4 bone cancer. The tests showed that there is a problem with the amount of her white blood cells which is too high and she needs to undergo chemotherapy to shrink the cancer and destroy the cancer cells.

So today I was thinking to pay her a visit. But a very last minute important errands just stop me for doing so. And again, later in the evening I received a text from Izza. She told me that Shikin just had her chemo and its react to her body unconstructively. She is on life support and unconscious. I texted Elle, Farina and Farah to relay them the bad news.

Thankfully, Izza was there to update me on Shikin’s condition. Later the doctor did another test and now the white blood cells have infected her brain and she is still unconscious.

At this moment, I’m waiting for Izza’s update until I do my own visit tomorrow.
